Hello, I’m Meric, owner and soap maker of Eira Soaps. I am a chemical engineering by training with a specialisation in sustainability. I make all of the products in my little studio in Edinburgh.

 

I am a fifth generation soap maker in my family. I've always been interested in the soap making process. Last year I realised that this is not just a hobby for me, it is so much more than that. I love experimenting with natural colourants and botanicals and creating new soaps.

 

I am also in the quest to find good quality and practical plastic-free alternatives to skincare products. Therefore I am constantly working on developing new products.
